CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS
Six certificate programs in theological studies are presently offered. All of these programs require completion of at least six courses in a coherent sequence of studies. Two to three years of study are usually needed to complete the requirements for a certificate.
Electives: The particular course of study the student undertakes is determined by the student’s goals and in consultation with the Dean.
The Certificate in Theology (Includes 24 hours of recommended college credit)

The Certificate in Systematic Theology (Includes 12 hours of recommended college credit)

Systematic Theology III: The Doctrine of the Holy Spirit World Religions
Old Testament I

The Certificate in Biblical Studies (Includes 15 hours of recommended college credit)

Biblical Hebrew (2 semesters) or Women in the Bible
New Testament Greek (2 semesters)
The Certificate in Pastoral Counseling (Includes 15 hours of recommended college credit)

In addition to the courses listed above, the student is required to take Education for Pastoral Care (EPC). Students who complete the course work for this certificate without completing EPC are granted a certificate in Pastoral Care.
